This is a "crudite" or raw vegetable arrangement that looks like a flower arrangement that I made as the main appetizer for Thanksgiving dinner. I used a separate platter to hold the dip in a hollowed-out orange sweet pepper as well as olives and other veggies.

We don't have Thanksgiving holiday here in Russia. To my shame I even have no a clear idea that is the meaning of it. But I would like to sit by the table decorated in a such loving way
ReplyDeleteThank you for you lovely comment, you are always too kind Selena!
ReplyDeleteAs far as Thanksgiving, it started when the first settlers to America got help from native indians to learn the skills to make it through the winter. To thank them they threw a 3 day party every year right before the harsh winter started that mostly centered around food.
We celebrate it by getting together with our friends and family, stuffing our faces all day and giving thanks for what we have!
oh, I see now (before I thought it was a kind of religious holiday). It is related to food!!! Perfect opportunity for fruit and vegetable carving deal :)) Linda thanks a lot and Happy Holiday!
ReplyDeleteHard to see details, can we get a close up?
